If you want to fit/burn large movies to one normal DVD, then play well on DVD player, you should use the right software, there is an easy way and the better choice, you can try RZ DVD Creator, it can create video DVD from any movies, it can auto fit the size, it can burn multiple movies to one disc, it can easy custom professional dynamic DVD menu, it can create 5.1 AC-3 surround sound DVD from any movies, it can directly convert and burn any movies to DVD(DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD-DL, DVD+DL, etc), such as avi to DVD, etc.

Work well on my computer, easy to use, good quality, for some step by step guides about how to use RZ DVD Creator, you can goto

Hope it can help you.

How do you put a copyright dvd on your laptop to conserve battery life?

Posted in News on February 24th, 2011 by admin – 2 Comments

I’m new to this. Can anyone walk me through the dangfangled confounded process of trying to back up a copyright dvd to my laptop so I can save battery life while watching a movie with out running the dvd. Seems its a long drawn out pain in the a$$. Need help. Also, if the dvd is like, Lonesome Dove, which is 4 1/2 hrs long, will it cause more problems?

Best reply by David:

What you are proposing is going to make little or no difference to battery life. Also to do what you want you are going to have to circumvent the copyright encryption on the DVD, that’s illegal, but up to you. Do a Google search for the required software.

If you want to watch it why not use a domestic DVD player.

How to convert a DVD back to original photo images?

Posted in News on February 23rd, 2011 by admin – 1 Comment

Hi,
I have a DVD that a distant relative gave me. They had taken a bunch of old photos and converted them into a DVD. Now I want to get them back to individual photos so I can do some digital photo restoration and add them to a digital photo frame. Is there any way to do this without purchasing a piece of software I’ll never use again?

Thanks!

1.
In WMP, at least since version 9, you can use Ctrl-I (EYE) to capture a frame, either when playing or when paused for greater accuracy. It brings up a Save Captured Image dialog which handily defaults to a jpeg. This works only if the video you are watching is using a Microsoft supported movie file.

2.
Don’t use Overlay

1. Open your Window Media Player and click Options on the Tools menu.
2. On the Performance tab, click on the Advanced… button.
3. Uncheck Use overlays from DVD video, click OK and restart the player.

Now you can capture images from any movies played in Windows Media Player using Print Screen (PrintScrn) key (or ALT + PrintScrn key). Once copied, the image can be pasted into Microsoft Paint (Start > All Programs > Accessories > Paint) or other image editor. If you have problems taking screenshots from a playing movie try to pause it first, then “print” the image.

What is the best DVD available to teach myself poledancing for fitness at home?

I am looking for a dvd where the steps are easy to follow. I want something that clearly demonstates each move.

I want it to be clear that I am not looking for porn or anything containing nudity. I am seeking a DVD that can teach pole dancing as fitness, not as stripping.

How do I build an electronic timer to trigger multiple dvd players?

Posted in News on February 20th, 2011 by admin – Be the first to comment

I am trying to set up a little video kiosk with multiple dvd players (probably three or four) to play specific things at specific times. For example, I might want dvd 1 to play from 7:00 pm until 8:00 pm every day, then I might want dvd 2 to play from 8:00 pm until midnight, etc.

Any thoughts on a timer that would switch to the dvd player and trigger tthe dvd player to play?

Thanks!

You could use a programmable remote control with a built-in timer. The Sony one (link below) lets you program up to 8 different timers. I’m sure there are others out there that aren’t quite as expensive, but I have one like this and I know it works well.

But, I’d consider something else instead of multiple DVD players, a switch box (for the A/V signals), and a programmable remote. I’d use a small computer and store the video on the hard drive (a DVD is about 5 GB, so most drives today will hold many DVDs). No switch box is required, and the computer OS probably has a simple event timer that can run a DVD player with a new file name. I presume you aren’t trying to play copyrighted movies, so you’d have full access to the video material to store on the hard drive.

You could optimize the computer for your video needs and even have it networked (if you want) to allow for online updates. By the time you get 4 DVD players, 4 sets of cables, a programmable switch box, and a programmable remote, you’re pretty close to the cost of a cheap computer. You’d have a lot fewer failure points with a computer, and if you networked them, you’d have a lot less labor costs (no driving out to change out the DVDs). Optical drives fail with dirt and dust; no dirt or dust can get into sealed hard drives. Quantity buys of the same configuration from the same mfgr can reduce the computer costs as well…
