This TV show that ran from 1977 to 1984 was actually a remake of the British sitcom Man About the House and became very popular with TV audience in America. This sitcom can still be enjoyed on DVDs and re-runs. The sitcom featured several running gags like Chrissy slamming the door on someone, and the landlord Mr. Roper cracking a joke about Jack’s supposed homosexuality.
