If the code entered is proper, the mode light on the remote will flash, after which the respective device is ready to be controlled. The user needs to test the operation by turning the power off and on. If this works fine, the device is programmed.
Remote controls come with various codes for different device brands. So if one code does not work, try to use the next one.
